Vintage Seiko Lord Quartz 7853-7010 1978 Watch

Vintage Seiko Lord Quartz 7853-7010 1978 Watch

A beautiful Vintage Seiko Quartz Watch from the Lord Quartz Range with reference 7853-7010 produced in 1978Ā for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) featuring Kanji & English on the day wheel. Just look at that dial!

The Seiko Cal. 7853 was a high-end quartz caliber. Lord Quartz was one step below King Quartz when it was released, but this caliber was much newer and the models higher priced than some KQ models. Lord Quartz are often more uncommon than the KQ equivalents because of the lower pop. of watches produced/sold (and still working).

One of the improvements was the thinner case design with screw-back caseback and 10 seconds of accuracy per month, quite the feat in 1978 - finished of with a beautiful "textured" lined dial.

Watch has received a fresh battery and placed on an aftermarket bracelet. This is model QHY031 costing „40,000 back in 1978.

The crystal is in average scratches condition, this could be replaced but waiting time on new crystal is 2-3 weeks.
