King Seiko "Blocky" KS 5625-7000 Automatic 1969
I'm still debating if I shouldn't keep this - This Seiko King Seiko "Blocky" is absolute amazing. The Seiko 5625 hi-beat movement runs amazing, the 7000 case is unpolished and still has sharp edges and the dial has (rightfully) earned the nickname "blocky" because of the rectagular shape of index that are applied and really are elevated above everything else on the dial. Fortunately, the gold medallion is still in good shape and not tarnished yet.
The lume on the hands have slighly detoriated, but not too much so it gives a great vintage vibe. The dial is in great condition else.
I've paired this beautiful Vintage Seiko King Seiko on a vintage looking taupe strap in 19mm. This watch is just pure 1970 Seiko gold and an amazing watch for any collector, seiko or vintage in general.
This is model 56KAC from the 1970 Catalog. This model was only made for a relatively short production time (1969-1971) in comparison with the more "normal" indexed 5625-7000 dial-models.
