Beautiful Vintage Seiko Silverwave Ref. 8229-7030 from 1981. This is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market Model).
In my opinion it doesn't get better than this, a beautiful vintage Seiko Quartz watch in immaculate as-new condition, serviced.
This Seiko Silverwave is in immaculate pristine condition cosmetically. It shows nearly no signs of visual wear, and the plastic sticker is still on the caseback.
It is virtually unworn. Because the tags/box are not there, I would rate the condition as "mint" or "as-new" - otherwise it would be NOS condition.
This watch has been fully serviced by a watchmaker and operates perfectly. Sets and keeps time well. Quickset day and date work as they should.
