I love finding gems! This is an absolute monster: Alba "Aqua Gear" Scuba Diver with Solar Powered V145 movement from the 1991.
Alba "Aqua Gear" is a sub-brand from Seiko and you can tell this is Seiko quality in everything. I even dare to say, this watch is more well-made spec-wise than the modern entry level seiko 5 sports models!
Screwed crown, caseback, heavy case, 60 click steel bezel, beautiful blue dial and fat hands that sit somewhere in between Cathedral and Mercedes style, and all that in a solar powered caliber.
It might not say Seiko, but it sure is made with the same quality. If there was Seiko on the dial, the price would be a lot higher ;-)
