Vintage Nivada Watch Quartz GP Case 1980 w/ pouch card
Despite efforts to keep mechanical watches relevant, including a brief venture into quartz movements in the early 1980s, Nivada's profits continued to decline as quartz watches dominated the market. By the mid-1980s, the company could no longer sustain itself and was sold to the South Korean Kim Suk Keun Watch Company. Given the lack of available photos from this period, it's unclear whether the brand achieved any significant success in South Korea
This seems to be a produce of that, A Nivada Japan Vintage Quartz Watch.
This was is very similair looking to Seiko watches of the Chronos and Dolce series and made from the 1980s, boasting a Seiko VX33 Caliber.
The watch is in good condition with a gold stradust dial and GP (gold plated) case.
The leather pouch is a nice addition and comes with a sort of warranty card in Japanese, with "Nivada Japan". Quartz crisis in full effect. I'd say :)
Still, a beautiful vintage dress watch that is an eye-catcher on the wrist
