Vintage Seiko Chronos Watch Datejust 7433-7010 1983

Vintage Seiko Chronos Watch Datejust 7433-7010 1983

This Seiko Chronos Datejust Reference 7433-7010 is a perfect budget alternative to a Rolex Datejust featuring a fluted bezel and linnen silver dial - as always the dial pattern from Seiko is top notch, even on their mid-tier models like the Chronos series. Not a lot is known about the Chronos, but It is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) watch model featuring both Kanji and English day with date and comes in a very well preserved gold-looking case. It is paired well with an aftermarket strap here and the seiko watch was produced in July 1983 and made in the Seiko Daini factory as can be spotted by the daini lightning bolt on the back.Ā

The overall condition is good, besides the caseback. A former owner clearly didn't know how to use a caseback tool, and therefor the caseback has scratches all over.

The watch also has a screwdown crown. This watch originally cost 30,000 yen equivalent to around 242 Euros today and has model reference WJP010.
