Vintage Seiko Majesta 9063-602A Twin-Mode 1985
What is this watch? It might look like any other Vintage Seiko Quartz Watch, but...
If you look closer you'll see this watch featuring the the high-end 9063 calibre 5-jewelled 'Twin Mode' quartz movement, accurate to +/- 20 seconds per year with a frequency of 196,608 Hz.
This caliber was soley reserved for the Majesta series (and the Twin-Quartz in general only in the highest-end Grand Quartz, Superior & King Quartz ranges) which is nowhere to be found on this watch, AND there is only a single-quartz logo on the dial, where most twin-quartz models had the 'twin-quartz' logo at 6 o clock.
I can't find the specific reference in vintage JDM Seiko Catalog's - but it does share many features with the Seiko Majesta 9063-6000.
I'm certain the watch is genuine and produced by Seiko like this - everything is correct. The references on the caseback, reference on the dial and ofcourse - the 9063 caliber itself in the watch - if you google the reference, identical appearing Seiko's show up, too. My best bet is that this is an export model, however in that case featuring Kanji on the day-wheel makes no sense.
It probably will remain a mystery - but this is your chance to own a Majesta/Twin Quartz :)
Watch has been cleaned thorougly and new fresh battery has been placed. Working perfectly, keeps time, quickset day/date works.
