Vintage Seiko Session 5P31-5A8A Watch 1995 Palladium Case JDM Quartz

Vintage Seiko Session 5P31-5A8A Watch 1995 Palladium Case JDM Quartz

If you're looking for a unique design, this Seiko Session might be for you! This Vintage Seiko Session Quartz Watch with Quartz Caliber Cal. 5P31 is a beauty from 1995, originally model number SATR002 costing 26,500 Yen back then!

The watch is in great condition cosmetically, comes on the original adjustable in size bracelet and has received a ultrasonic bath and fresh battery.

The case is quite special as it is a base metal case with combined gold and palladium plating. Seiko marks this with GPDP on the caseback.

Seiko Epson's plating division (SEP Plating Division) marks the following on their website: "Palladium is valued as a decorative metal, as well as for its wear and corrosion resistance and its durability."

N.B: There is a fracture in the bracelet making it less flexible, it is still wearable. I decided not to replace it, since the original style bracelet adds too much to the total appearance and design of this model.
